So I'm driving back from spending money to look good cuz vanity and all. I'm dance/driving to Ariana Grande on the radio on the access road and see an upcoming intersection, two opposing cars perpendicular to my travel stopping at stop signs. They won't even be at a full rest by the time I pass through so I pay no mind. Waco is just full of these weird stop sign positionings, whatever. Coming up maybe 25' to the intersection and WHOOPS THERE'S A GOT DANGED STOP SIGN FOR MY LANE AND I'M GOING 40. Ain't nobody got braking capabilities for that so I do the only logical thing I can think of

Yup. I'm that asshole now. *sigh* I know the appropriate punishment for this sort of infraction. I will consign myself to hours of christian alt rock/rap songs on the radio, of which there is plenty around here

Seriously, I am so lucky to have not hit anyone. Pay attention to stop signs kids, that shit was dangerous

Yup. A while ago, somehow I was distracted (not by phone but by simple radio) and I went through a stop sign. My girlfriend "Wasn't that a stop sign?". Yes hunny, yes it was. Fuck.

Oh well. Could be worse. Canada has 1 interstate (seriously that's all), that has many side roads that intersect it at stop signs. Now...you can't really miss these stop signs because they are huge, and have rumble strips in front of them, but that would be a stop sign you wouldn't want to miss!

Been there done that. A while back I was driving to work and my mind just wondered off and I went through an intersection. Then I snap out of it and think to myself "that intersection felt so bumpy" only to realize that I blew a stop sign like it wasn't even there.

On a side note, I hit a stop sign once. Those things just go flying if you hit em hard enough, won't even scratch your bumper. Whoever designed that mounting was damn clever

Good, now I feel less guilty about accidently speeding through a school zone today. I usually want to curse out people who do that to. In my defense though, I was picking up my sister after school and kind of forgot that it was still active despite school ending 45 minutes earlier.

It's not a bad area, but I get Holy Water thrown on me every time I stop there for some reason. And that shit burns.

It's hot during the summer, but I refer to it as "The Arctic Circle" during the winter. North of Waco? Snows more. South of Waco? You're generally safe.

Just teasing. Not my cup of tea. I have almost no idea what kind of music is played on the radio, I think the one you're talking about used to be a Disney person? When I listen to the radio it's usually just NPR.

I typically keep my 90's EDM on but I was in the mood for pop. And yeah she was. I used to see her on the shows my little sister watched. "Damn" I would say, "She's gonna be big one day with that voice." Is someone going to answer the phone?

I grew up in NE texas but this'll be my first winter where it supposedly snows (few miles north of Waco). Honestly I'm a little torn. I miss snow but crummy old new edges aren't exactly the go to snow car

In the neighborhood I just moved out of there were a lot of 4 way stops and "2 out of the 4" have to stop situations.

My parents drove up from South Carolina for a week like 3-4 years ago. And my dad, who is CRAZY strict of a driver....person in general (I mean this, like wouldn't let my sister see a PG-13 movie the day before she turned 13. Literally the night before. Are you 13? No. Then you don't belong in that movie kind of guy). Anyhow, he blares straight through one of the 4 way stops.

Me: So you just weren't in the mood for that stop sign?

Him: WHAT?! THERE WAS A STOP SIGN?! NO WAY!

Me: Yep, people blow it all the time, don't worry no cops around

Him: I CAN'T BELIEVE I JUST DID THAT
